Tryin’ to Forgive You by Melodie Yvonne
I hope somebody ruins your life The way you fucked up mine I hope you fall in love with Someone that’s the same alike
I wish I could just hurt you The same way that you hurt me But I’m tryin’ to forgive you So that I can set me free
I wish I was as good at playin’ All your selfish games Your constant string of sorrys Knot into a tired refrain
And every single time that I can finally start to breathe You do some fucked up shit And knock the wind right out of me
I wish I could just hurt you The same way that you hurt me I’m begging God to help me ‘Cause I know this isn’t me
I wish I could just hurt you The same way that you hurt me But I’m tryin’ to forgive you So that I can set me free

All I Am is All I Was by Melodie Yvonne
Sometimes you’re still all I see when I close my eyes Sometimes all these thoughts of you just keep me paralyzed I don’t know why it’s been so long and I’m not over you Especially when a bit of luck was all I was to you
All I was was just another game for you to play A pretty little trinket like a photo on display All I was was everything you wanted me to be And now all I am is wonderin’ why you walked away from me
I replay every second, every moment in my mind Looking at the details hoping for a clue to find Looking for a taste of you to ease my troubled mind But all I can see is just your nothings left for me to find
All I was was just another game for you to play A stupid little trinket on your shelf all tucked away All I was was everything you wanted me to be And now all I am is wonderin’ why you walked away from me
Every night I pray to God for just a bit of sleep I wish on every single star to heal me way down deep But seems like all i ever do is not get over you And I’m tired of all this aching that keeps goin’ through and through
I’m wonderin’ when that day will come when I keep movin’ on I’m wonderin’ when you won’t be there in every single song I’m wonderin’ when that day will come when i can set me free And when i can finally forgive you for what you did to me
All I ever was just another game for you to play A pretty little trinket like a photo on display All I was was everything you wanted me to be And now all I am is wonderin’ why you walked away from me
Yeah now all I am is wonderin’ why you walked away from me

Rain Check by Melodie Yvonne
A rain check on my moral gain Will not be good another day You grow & learn & let in change Or else you wilt & fade away
I know ‘cause I got way off track Got stuck in place a while back And now I’ve got to get me movin’ Got to get myself a’groovin’
Got to find the hope I lost I’m in too deep, my soul’s the cost And I’m no longer one to lose I’m not the one that’s all confused
I’ll not sit here & waste away While you stay gone another day I’m not the one that’s taking flight Now I’m the one that’s here to fight
A rain check on our moral gain Will not be good another day We grow & learn & let in change Or else we’ll wilt & fade away

You On Repeat by Melodie Yvonne
I loved your heart there from the start but soon we came undone We drank and raged most every day until it wasn’t fun But if we could erase history and relive it all again I’d rewind every second and replay until the end
I’d follow you around the world just hoping for a glimpse My butterflies would flip-flop at the thought of just a chance But this time I’d say all those words I never got to say I’d be walkin’ right behind you ‘stead of walkin’ right away
If we could erase history and relive it all again I’d rewind every second and replay until the end I’d dance through all the good times and I’d sway through every heartache Then I’d put you on repeat so we’d still be together always
I wouldn’t run from thunderclouds that never even rained I’d open my umbrella and I’d shield you from the pain I wouldn’t need to say those words I never got to say ‘Cause I’d follow you down Main with love written across my face
If we could erase history and relive it all again I’d rewind every second and replay until the end I’d dance through all the good times and I’d sway through every heartache Then I’d put you on repeat so we’d still be together always

Come Back Home by Melodie Yvonne
How can it be over when it never really started? But if it’s still not over how come I’m here brokenhearted? How could you just leave me in the spotlight all alone? I would give up every second if you just would come back home
How can it be over when I never said goodbye? Where did all that love go that I saw inside your eyes? How can you just walk away from all we made together The first second that you saw a bit of tumultuous weather?
How can it be over I will never really know Somehow I knew you’d leave but I still can’t believe you’d go I said I wanted nothing but I guess I must’ve lied ‘Cause all I can do since you left is just sit around and cry
How can it be over when it never did begin? If something’s got no start then how the hell’s it got an end? I don’t know if it’s your fault or it’s my fault I’m alone But I’d give up every second if you just would come back home

Taking A Swim by Melodie Yvonne
Swimming in a sea of endless negativity I’m drowning Crying and praying for just a breath of air Wishing you had dug a little just until you found me But I had to save myself ‘cause you weren’t there
Clawing my way out of all this self-inflicted doubt gets harder How does it hurt more each passing day? Filled with deep regret for all the things I don’t confess And all this pain inside me just won’t go away
I try to wear a smile but it only lasts a while I’m fakin’ Hidin’ in these walls that just get higher Finally get some air but feel like no one really cares I waste it Usin’ it as fuel to fan my fire
Swimming in a sea of endless negativity I’m drowning Crying and praying for just a breath of air Wishing you had dug a little just until you found me But I had to save myself ‘cause you weren’t there
Swimming in a sea of endless negativity I’m drowning Crying and praying for just a breath of air Wishing you had dug a little just until you found me Now I’m tryin’ to save myself ‘cause you’re not here
