The Ick by Melodie Yvonne

Do you believe in love at first sight?
What about LOATHE at first sight?

It’s the opposite of the former where you think you adore her
It’s this tingling of hate that you just can’t abate
And you just can’t explain, but this bitch gives you pains
A pain in your heart ‘cause you try to love her
She’s done nothing wrong, you’re not up above her
You know in your head that it’s all irrational
But you can’t quell this feeling of ick that’s so passionate
The moment she speaks you try to start backin’ up
The way that she chews is insane, I’m not having it
Even her sense of smell is so rude
The way that she walks in and fills up a room
Her perfume sits on the air like a field of tied down helium balloons that punch you in the face when you try to walk through.

Yeah, everyone knows people can be addicting
But not enough people mention that feeling
That punch in the gut when you’re suddenly inflicted
with some motherfucker you know’ll be a dickhead
But you’re way too poor to choose where you work at
So you just eat your feelings until you are so fat
that suddenly you are the one people run from
And then you’re alone, but…

At least that dumb bitch is gone.
