Bean Soup by Melodie Yvonne

A hydro strung necklace and Vicodin leash
makes me follow him quiet like a good lil leech
He follows his momma, still suckles her teats
He’s just sweet as puddin’ as long as he feeds

He’ll open my doors and hug me so tight
then steal from my purse when I crash for the night
Snatch all my shit and argue his rights
Then hide in the toilet and fuck his fleshlight

Hides behind charms and a smile that melts ice
My Jose gets warm, his heart chills it quite nice
Knowing he’s wrong he’ll convince me he’s right
and then all again he’s in my bed tonight

Lock up your pills and lock up your wife
Not joshin’ you this guy will fuck up your life
He’ll make you pity his make-believe strife
He’ll suck you right in while twistin’ that knife

But I just can’t help it he’s got them bright eyes
And I know it looks bad but he wouldn’t lie
It’s just a small fib and nobody died
And I just can’t help it I get butterflies
 
You’d understand if you knew him like I did
I can’t explain but he had a bad childhood
He’s just so sensitive plus that dick’s magic
So it’ll be worth it even if it ends tragic

Just leave him alone this man is my king
Nobody talks that way ‘bout him ‘cept me
And we’re ride or die ‘til the day that we’re free
You mess with my man you’re messin’ with me
