Heavy by Melodie Yvonne

My stomach’s in knots & I can’t feel a thing
‘Cept the rootin’ and tinglin’ up in my brain
My mind is all heavy & I’m gettin’ scared
Of the damage that might one day not be repaired

My butterflies twistin’ & turnin’ inside
I’m pretty sure this time there’s nowhere to hide
I gotta keep movin’, but I gotta stop
‘Cause if this shit keeps goin’ I’m just gonna drop

I’m boilin’ over, I’m right on the brink
And I’m certainly not innocent like you think
One day real soon your fucked life’s coming at you
There’s nowhere to hide in a world that beget you

You gotta stop, it’s time you took a break
Step back & look at the mess you have made
Turn back to God, it’s time you made amends
‘Cause He sees right on through all your bullshit pretend

Stomach’s in knots & I can’t feel a thing
‘Cept the rootin’ and tinglin’ up in my brain
My mind is all heavy & I’m gettin’ scared
Of your damage that’s too late for me to repair

Stomach’s in knots & I can’t feel a thing
‘Cept the rootin’ and tinglin’ up in my brain
My mind is all heavy & I’m gettin’ scared
Of the damage that’s too late for you to repair

Yeah, my mind is all heavy & I’m gettin’ scared
Of the damage that’s too late to ever repair
