Sometimes It’s Too Late by Melodie Yvonne

Sometimes it’s so hard to trust in my fate
I’ve sure learned a lot, but not how to wait
Sometimes my cold heart freezes with hate
And I worry tomorrow’s already too late

Sometimes I just sit and cry to myself
‘Cause I know that it’s too late for me to get help
Ridiculous dreaming is all that I’ve felt
My high expectations teeter on my shelf

Sometimes I just lay there awake in my dream
Knowing that nobody is what they seem
I’d rather have dirty than truth that’s unclean
Fuck all your perfect and give me obscene

Sometimes it’s so hard to trust in my fate
I’ve sure learned a lot, but not how to wait
Sometimes my cold heart freezes with hate
And I worry tomorrow’s already too late
