Make the Night by Melodie Yvonne

I’m lost inside and don’t know why
And it just breaks my heart
I look and look most every day
But still I fall apart

I spin around in circles
All the while just standing still
But I’d rather be all crazy
Than just hide it all with pills

I don’t know what I’m gonna do
If I can’t make this right
But now baby if you help me
Maybe I can make the night

I’m running far away from you
But I’m still standing here
I’m wasting so much precious time
Just paralyzed with fear

I’m wide-awake in nightmares
Though I just can’t sleep to dream
And I’m stuck here in your shadows
Trying to cling to anything

I don’t know what I’m gonna do
To get through this long life
But now baby if you hold me
Maybe I can make the night

No I don’t know what I’m gonna do
If I can’t make this right
I don’t know what I’m gonna do
To get through this long life

No I don’t know what I’m gonna do
If I can’t make this right
But now baby if you help me
Maybe I can make the night

Yeah now baby if you help me
Maybe I can make the night
