I loved your heart there from the start but soon we came undone
We drank and raged most every day until it wasn’t fun
But if we could erase history and relive it all again
I’d rewind every second and replay until the end

I’d follow you around the world just hoping for a glimpse
My butterflies would flip-flop at the thought of just a chance
But this time I’d say all those words I never got to say
I’d be walkin’ right behind you ‘stead of walkin’ right away

If we could erase history and relive it all again
I’d rewind every second and replay until the end
I’d dance through all the good times and I’d sway through every heartache
Then I’d put you on repeat so we’d still be together always

I wouldn’t run from thunderclouds that never even rained
I’d open my umbrella and I’d shield you from the pain
I wouldn’t need to say those words I never got to say
‘Cause I’d follow you down Main with love written across my face

If we could erase history and relive it all again

I’d dance through all the good times and I’d sway through every heartache
Then I’d put you on repeat so we’d still be together always
