Come Back Home by Melodie Yvonne

How can it be over when it never really started?
But if it’s still not over how come I’m here brokenhearted?
How could you just leave me in the spotlight all alone?
I would give up every second if you just would come back home

How can it be over when I never said goodbye?
Where did all that love go that I saw inside your eyes?
How can you just walk away from all we made together
The first second that you saw a bit of tumultuous weather?

How can it be over I will never really know
Somehow I knew you’d leave but I still can’t believe you’d go
I said I wanted nothing but I guess I must’ve lied
‘Cause all I can do since you left is just sit around and cry

How can it be over when it never did begin?
If something’s got no start then how the hell’s it got an end?
I don’t know if it’s your fault or it’s my fault I’m alone
But I’d give up every second if you just would come back home
