Worlds Apart by Melodie Yvonne

I never said I was mad at you for all the things you didn’t do
I don’t know how you broke my heart when we was always worlds apart
I don’t know how there’s all this pain from never seeing you again
I don’t know how you held my heart when we are worlds apart

I don’t know how you gave away my heart I put out for display
I truly thought there’d be no other now you’ve done left with another
And now it’s just another day tears crashing down like tidal waves
My love for you it pulls me under echoes through my soul like thunder

Now I don’t know what to do if I can’t be a part of you
I didn’t think you’d break my heart if I kept you a world apart
If you were just a fantasy I thought there’d be no harm to me
I don’t know how you’ve held my heart when we are worlds apart
