Atomic by Melodie Yvonne

You made me Cinderella
But you forgot my shoe
You left me way past midnight
Stuck not knowing what to do
You made my every dream for real
Except the one ‘bout you
And now I’m sittin’ here alone
Just wishing I was there with you

You sped my heart beat up
But somehow slowed it down
Your aura’s a barbaric yawp
That doesn’t make a sound
Your arms are my safe place to hide
My place where sorrow drowns
But your love is an atomic bomb
That’s made to take me down

You made my soul begin to dance
But kept me on the ground
You showed me how high I could fly
And then you shot me down
Your eyes they say they love me
But they can’t get passed your frown
And I don’t know how to save that smile
When I can’t be around

You sped my heart beat up
But somehow slowed it down
Your aura’s a barbaric yawp
That doesn’t make a sound
Your arms are my safe place to hide
My place where sorrow drowns
But your love is an atomic bomb
That’s made to take me down

Yeah your love is my atomic bomb
That’s made to take me down
