No, Really, You Can Keep Him by Melodie Yvonne

I am not trying to take your husband
I am not trying to take your man
I can’t stand all that drama
And I don’t do things just ‘cause I can

I’m single not ready to mingle
I’m nice ‘cause it’s part of my job
I don’t deserve all this frustration
Because of some dim-witted slob

If you don’t trust what you got going
Don’t make me some part your plan
Go shoot those daggers at somebody else
I am not trying to steal your man

I know that my way is confusing
And I get why you don’t understand
But trust me I’d rather be a big ole enigma
Than ever get stuck with your man.

PS… please stop tryin’ to set me up with your friend
I am NOT tryin’ to steal your man.
