Dedicated to Shannon Hoon ❤ ❤ ❤

Every day you remind me of what you could have been
The little trinkets you leave us full of love you send
A dollar here a dollar there and everything we want
But all we really want is you right back here in our hearts

We close our eyes and see your face look back at us each day
But we don’t wanna make it go, we wanna make it stay

We close our eyes and try to make it all stay
We close our eyes and try to make it all stay
We close our eyes and try to make it all stay

Every day you remind us of what you could have been
Our heads all full of cavities are trying not to sin
But every day that flies by you get further out of reach
And we just wanna have you here with us with all our souls to keep

We close our eyes and see your face look back at us each day
But we don’t wanna make it go, we wanna make it stay

We close our eyes and try to make it all stay
We close our eyes and try to make it all stay
We close our eyes and try to make it all stay
