What happens when you find out that you finally stand for somethin’
After all this friggin’ time thinkin’ you always stood for nothin’
What happens when you look into that mirror and see things clearly
Baby, its ok I get it ‘cause we never knew us really

Well I guess it’s ‘bout the time for you to fly and get your wings
‘Cause baby it’s about the time for you deserving better things
Well, I guess it’s ‘bout the time for you to fly and get your wings
‘Cause, baby, it’s about the time for us to go and live like kings

I guess you didn’t know me ‘cause I didn’t know myself
But now I didn’t know you either, you been frontin’ someone else
I’m guessin it’s the best, though, that we’re finding out this way
‘Cause baby it’s sure hard enough in this cold world to make love stay
