This Week by Melodie Yvonne

This week I fell apart, I found an end, but not a start
This week I fell apart, I tried to give and lost my heart
This week I cried and cried, I drowned until my well was dry
This week I just gave in, to giving up, forgive my sins

I don’t know what to do, if I can’t keep on loving you
I don’t know what to be, if you can’t be a part of me

This year I fell apart, my shattered heart’s a work of art
1000 broken pieces, float off in space yet never leave us
All alone to heal, they rain back down like sharpened steel
I can’t keep me together, Lord, get me through this stormy weather

‘Cause I don’t know what to do, if I can’t keep on loving you
I don’t know what to be, if you can’t be a part of me

This week I lost all hope, and I just don’t know how to cope
Without dreams of forever, but at least I finally got some closure
Now there’s just this time, that twists and turns throughout my mind
Until this week is over, and I just have to start another

I don’t know what to do, if I can’t keep on loving you
I don’t know what to be, if you can’t be a part of me
I don’t know how to feel, knowing that the end is real
But finally it’s over, I’m giving up on being sober

I don’t know what to do if I can’t keep on loving you
I don’t know what to be if you can’t be a part of me
I don’t know what to do if I can’t keep dreamin’ ’bout you
I don’t know what to be if I can’t dream you’ll set me free
