Please Stay, Go Away by Melodie Yvonne

I’m so friggin’ sad my heart breaks every day
I pray and I pray, but it won’t go away
And all of my tears they just get in the way
I just want you to leave, but I want you to stay

I wish I could think of just one thing to say
But all of my thoughts they just get in the way
I wish we could be like we were in the days
Before all of the heartache that led us astray

I wanna believe it’ll all be ok
I wanna believe everything that you say
But life ripped my heart out and threw it away
Now my mind is just broken and full of decay

I’m so friggin’ sad my heart breaks every day
I pray and I pray, but it won’t go away
And all of my tears they just get in the way
I just want you to leave, but I want you to stay

I just wanna sleep, but I’m stuck wide awake
I don’t wanna see you, but I miss your face
I’m feelin’ so stupid like one of your games
Where you made up the rules and I don’t wanna play

I wish I could die make it all go away
I think if I give you more I’m gonna break
But I just can’t stop, I just can’t turn away
‘Cause as much as I fight it He made me this way

I’m so friggin’ sad my heart breaks every day
I pray and I pray, but it won’t go away
And all of my tears they just get in the way
I just want you to leave, but I want you to stay

I just want you to be here, but please go away
