Fading Away by Melodie Yvonne

Your face is in the picture of my mind still all the time
The way you make me feel I swear I thought I’d never find
I think about the ways I wish that I could make you mine
And I don’t know how much longer I can keep on toein’ this line

I try to not think of you and how all you are is real
I try to just not think about these crazy things I feel
I pray that it just goes away so I don’t have to deal
But I’m just a lil wimpy thing and now I’m your last meal

I thought I saw inside your heart and how it looked like mine
But you had yours all locked away somewhere I couldn’t find
I wasted parts of me while you just sat and wasted time
And now everyday these everythings are so real in my mind

You never gave me anything you’d ever have to feel
You never gave me any hope that you were all for real
But how could I have known your heart’s on loan and made of steel
And now all that I can do is fade away and try to heal
