Arsonist on Fire by Melodie Yvonne

I wanna save your life
But I just can’t spend all of mine
Putting out fires for an arsonist
Just having a good time

I wanted to protect you
And make things go your way
But you sabotage them all yourself
And now I just can’t stay

I wanted you to love
But you just love yourself
And you take and take until you’re full
From everybody else

I wanted you to be
The greatness that I see
But I took those rose tint lenses off
And you’re the enemy

I wanna save your life
But I just can’t spend all of mine
Putting out fires for an arsonist
Just having a good time
