The End of Michigan by Melodie Yvonne

Time moves too fast, too fast in this state
Time moves so fast, it moves too fast to waste
But take my hand, and we’ll ride
We’ll ride to the end, the end of Michigan

Warm times the sun it follows me
Wish I didn’t have to come down
Like the leaves fall to the ground
Like the birds are flyin’ south

But your love that follows me
Keeps my head up in the clouds
Keeps my heart all safe and sound
Keeps me comin’ back around

So take my hand again
And we’ll ride to the end
Yeah we’ll ride to the end
The end of Michigan

See the summer in my heart
It still warms the coldest part
It’s fallin’ here in Michigan
But our hearts warm ‘til the end

Yeah just take my hand again
And we’ll ride on to the end
Together here in Michigan
Just take my hand

Time moves too fast, too fast in this state
Time moves so fast, it moves too fast to waste
But it’ll all be alright
‘Cause we are not alone tonight

Your hand is still in my hand tight
And it’ll all be alright
On this chilly Autumn night
Here in Michigan
