Hope Insomniac by Melodie Yvonne

I’ve never been so much in love that didn’t love me back
My heart is aching oh so much it feels like an attack
My brain is all clogged up and all my thoughts are out of whack
And all I can do is lay awake and wish you’d want me back

My mind is itching with these thoughts of you that I can’t scratch
Ingesting all these chemicals to fill up what I lack
But now I squint my eyes and see that all my blue is black
And all I can do is lay awake and wish you’d want me back

Yeah all I can do is lay awake and wish you’d want me back
You’ve turned me into nothing but a hope insomniac
I’ve never been so much in love that didn’t love me back
Yeah all I can do is lay awake and wish you’d want me back
