Just please remind me why I choose to be free
Don’t cross the streams and don’t add to my cluster
‘Cause hidin’ these feelings is all I can muster
Need you to need me just like I need you
We’ve not really started but soon we’ll be through
I just can’t stand here and watch you forget me
I’m thinkin’ I’m runnin ‘fore you start to miss me
What are you doin’ you’re gonna confuse me
Can’t you just be like them all and abuse me
Can’t you just let me alone with my crazy
Just let me alone and stop tryin’ to save me
Need you to need me just like I need you
We’ve not really started but soon we’ll be through
I just can’t stand here and watch you forget me

Whatever you are I am all that and more
A forward and backward emotional whore
And I just don’t think that I’ll ever be needed
So I’m kinda thinkin’ I better be leavin’
