Blue Dream Eyes by Melodie Yvonne

Being tethered to you makes my soul want to vomit
Sooner punch you than text you if I’m to be honest
I’m sick of you lookin’ like you got a problem
That’s a good way to get me to step up and solve it

I need you more now than I needed you truly
Without your blue dream eyes I get unruly
If your eyes will still hold me I’ll still be your friend
I’ll be lucky or screwed by your draw in my end

I’ve given you chances that you threw away
So suck up those eyes ’cause I’m not gonna play
All that I wanted was being inside you
but coveting eyeballs got lids that I outgrew

I need you more now than I needed you truly
Without your blue dream eyes I get unruly
If your eyes will still me hold I’ll still be your friend
I’ll be lucky or screwed by your draw in my end

Now move it along, you’ve chosen your path
I hope what you found is a love that’ll last
‘Cause I think I’m done as a hopeless romantic
and all my ridiculous amorous antics
