I just realized the Love we lost would have been 18 this year… all grown up ❤ This is dedicated to her and my beautiful Hazie. I know you don’t have internet out there, Hazie, but I know you feel me in your head right now…

Tears have fallen
down our cheeks
you see our hearts are breaking.

Hand in hand we
pray for Love that
was so quickly taken.

Hold us closely
never go and
leave us all alone,

For now the only
Love that lingers
has been etched in stone.

3 Years by Melodie Yvonne

3 years have past since Love has gone.
3 years Love should have grown.
If I had seen 3 years of heartache
I’d seen what I had known.

3 years of how could, what if, why.
3 years Love set in stone.
Will comfort be in knowledge that
she’s spread her wings and flown?

3 years in time will drift away.
I blink… 3 more are gone,
but 3 more years will not forget
the Love that has been wronged.
